Pooley Country Park

Pooley Country Park is a heritage-focused country park near Polesworth, set around peaceful pools, woodland and the Coventry Canal. Dogs are welcome throughout the grounds on leads or under close control, with dog waste bins provided in the evidenced public outdoor areas and proper facilities for a long, slow morning sniff.

The park offers varied terrain for exploring, from waterside paths to shaded woodland routes and there's plenty to keep both ends of the lead happy. Seasonal opening hours apply—9 am to 6:30 pm April to September, 9 am to 5:30 pm in March and 9 am to 4 pm from October to February—so plan accordingly if you're visiting in the shorter months.

On-site parking is available with paid short-stay and day rates and the park includes a visitor centre with mining-heritage exhibits plus a café. Dogs should respect any signed no-dog areas, but the outdoor welcome is warm, well-organised and built for a proper dog day out.
