That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Right on the seafront, Promenade 65 is one of those places that quietly becomes “our spot” by day two of a trip. It’s a proper, no-nonsense café serving up freshly cooked breakfasts, generous lunches and the kind of homemade cakes that make you linger a bit longer than planned.
Everything leans towards quality over speed — locally sourced ingredients, proper portions and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like a local favourite than a tourist stop.
Set along the promenade, it’s an easy post-walk reset where you can sit in, or catch the sea air outside on a good day. It’s the kind of place where the dog is very much part of the visit — not an afterthought — and that shows in how relaxed it all feels.
Good to know:

Dog Policy:
Dogs are warmly welcomed inside. Expect water, fuss, and very strong interest from your dog in whatever’s coming out of the kitchen (free sausage sightings have been reported 🐾).
