ZOOM OUT TO EXPLORE

Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is a major forest-park destination in the Trossachs, where dogs are welcome across the trails, woodland and scenic forest drives. Managed by Forestry and Land Scotland and open year-round, the park offers a proper day out for dog owners who love wild places, wildlife and hill country on the doorstep of Stirling. Dogs can explore the paths and woods under Scottish Outdoor Access Code guidance.

The official park policy asks that they stay under control or on a lead where wildlife or livestock are present, which strikes a fair balance between freedom and forest etiquette. Car parking is available at key sites including The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre and the Three Lochs Forest Drive.

Whether you're here for a short loop or a proper adventure, the park delivers space, scenery and the kind of terrain that makes a tired dog happy. Just keep an eye out for deer, nesting birds and grazing stock and you're sorted for a brilliant forest outing.
