Queens Head/Porters

The Queens Head, also known as Porters, is a dog-friendly pub right in the centre of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea where dogs are welcome inside the bar area. Food is served daily, with hot meals available until 20:30 Monday to Saturday and until 16:00 on Sundays, so the whole group can settle in for lunch or an early evening bite. There's on-site parking, which takes one logistical worry off the table.

The pub opens daily from midday until midnight, making it a useful option whether you're stopping for a midday pint, a proper meal or a late drink after a windswept beach walk. The bar-area welcome means your dog can stay with you while you eat and relax indoors.

Newbiggin's beach and seafront are very close by, so this is a natural post-walk refuelling spot. The combination of central location, dog-friendly bar and full food service makes it a practical base for a proper day out on the Northumberland coast.
