R Bar is a village-centre bar on Grassington's main street where dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in for a drink without leaving anyone tied up on the pavement.

It's a proper indoor bar with a relaxed atmosphere and staff happy to let your dog join you at the table. The venue opens Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 3pm, then runs longer hours Thursday to Sunday with midday openings and service until late evening. There's a games room upstairs if you fancy a change of scene once the dog's finished supervising the ground floor.

It's a handy stop for visitors exploring central Grassington, whether you're breaking up a walking day or just want a drink somewhere that doesn't make you choose between the dog and a comfortable seat.
