The Railway Tavern is a traditional Thetford pub where dogs are welcome inside, just a short walk from the railway station. It's a handy stop for arrivals with paws and luggage in tow and a proper local for anyone wandering the town centre with the dog. CAMRA marks this as a dog-friendly pub, so you can settle in with a pint while the gang takes up their usual spot under the table.

The welcome is straightforward and the location works well for rail travellers who'd rather not leave anyone outside. Opening hours run from 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 2pm Friday, noon Saturday and noon Sunday.

The pub is closed Wednesdays. It's the sort of station-side local that keeps things simple: a drink, a seat and everyone on the right side of the door.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so it's an easy station-side pint with the gang under the table. That keeps the whole group on the right side of the door.
