Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Ramsey Island Boat Trips run dog-friendly wildlife excursions from St Justinians, about two miles west of St Davids. Dogs are welcome on board the adventure trips, which loop Ramsey Island and showcase seabirds, seals and dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline. The operator lets you decide whether your dog will enjoy the experience—some love the motion and the sea air, while others find it stressful.
Departures run daily at 10:30, 12:30, 14:00 and 16:30 between April and October and advance booking is advised. Trips are weather-dependent, so cancellations are refunded or transferred. The operator asks that dogs stay calm and controlled on board, as barking unsettles other passengers.
There's a temporary car park at St Justinians, though you can also walk or cycle the couple of miles from town. It's a proper St Davids day out that keeps the whole crew together—no one has to stay behind with the dog while the rest of you head to sea.
