Rawcliffe Country Park is one of York’s more spacious green escapes, combining woodland, open space and practical family-friendly facilities on the edge of the city. It has developed planting, a strong wildlife angle and a long-running Green Flag Award record, while extras like the climbing boulder and play area give it more range than a simple walking park. It works well as a stretch-the-legs stop when you want fresh air and breathing room without heading miles out into the countryside.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome on the paths and open spaces. Keep wildlife-chasing ambitions firmly on the lead and the park nice for everyone else.
