Red Lion is a proper community pub sort of place, built more around real ale, rock music and local atmosphere than polished harbour gloss. It offers darts, pool and regular live music, which gives it a friendly, grounded feel for visitors who like their pubs lively but still unmistakably local. A good choice for an unfussy Ramsgate pint with a bit of noise, character and proper pub heartbeat.

Dogs are welcome inside at Red Lion, where proper pub dogs are welcome as long as they bring decent manners with them. Keep them close, calm and not auditioning as the live music support act.
