The Retreat Coffee Shop & Kitchen is a welcoming café right in the centre of Grassington, serving breakfast from 9:30 until 11 and lunch through until 3:30pm. The café opens daily at 9:30am and closes at 4pm, making it a practical mid-walk or mid-explore stop. The official welcome extends to muddy boots as well as muddy paws, which is exactly the kind of realism you need when you've been out exploring the Dales with your dog.
It's a straightforward, central Grassington spot with full food and drink service and no fuss about having your dog by the table. The market square is close by and there's village parking nearby when you're ready to head off.
