River Cafe

River Cafe is a riverside cafe in Otley serving breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday, with dogs welcome inside. Useful for anyone coming into the Ilkley area along the Wharfedale corridor, it's a quietly positioned stop for coffee, cakes and a proper sit-down meal with your dog at your feet.

The menu runs from morning pastries and cooked breakfasts through to lunchtime plates and the kitchen serves until 3pm. Dogs are welcome to settle in downstairs, where staff have been known to reserve a table when they know you're bringing one along.

Open weekdays only, River Cafe closes at the weekend, so plan accordingly. It's a genuine cafe rather than a takeaway kiosk and the dog-friendly policy means you can keep the whole group together without leaving anyone outside while you eat.
