That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

Roam West is a cosy pub on the A82 south of Fort William, making it a handy stop for walkers and road-trippers heading between the town and Glencoe. Dogs are welcome inside the bar, so you can bring the whole pack in for a proper sit-down rather than someone volunteering for pavement duty. The pub serves food and drinks daily from 5pm to 10pm.

The welcome is confirmed in the bar area, where your dog can settle at your feet while you warm up with a pint or tuck into pub food. Indoor dining with dogs means everyone stays together, useful when the Highland weather turns.

Parking is available on site, which takes the usual lead-and-bag juggling out of the equation. Whether you're breaking up a long drive or finishing a hill day, Roam West is a practical base for that end-of-walk drink without leaving the dog outside.
