Robinswood Hill Country Park is a large green hill on the edge of Gloucester with big views across the Severn Vale, the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. Gloucester City Council highlights countryside walks, wildflower meadows, woodland habitat, waymarked trails, picnic areas and play space, plus easy pedestrian access from multiple nearby roads.
The Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust presence adds a visitor hub and café on site, which makes it feel more like a full day-out base than a simple open space. Routes can be as gentle or as leggy as you fancy, with woodland and meadow options to suit different paws and energy levels.
It is a great option when you want proper fresh air without leaving Gloucester far behind, offering the kind of hillside walking that keeps both dogs and their humans happily tired by the end of the day.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome and can be off lead in places. Be mindful of other visitors and sensitive areas, especially in spring when ground-nesting birds and wildflowers need a little extra respect.
