The Rocking Horse Cafe, lovingly known as “The Rocky”, is all about showcasing Northumberland produce and keeping things fresh, local and properly tasty. They’ve teamed up with regional farmers and suppliers to build a menu that celebrates the best of the area, with everything cooked fresh to order.
The headline act is the all-day breakfast stottie, a giant bun packed with indulgent classics like bacon, sausage and free range eggs. Pair it with speciality coffee roasted on Holy Island, settle in, and accept that your dog is now on full-time stottie watch, even if you promised them “this is not for you”.
Open 7 days a week, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm in winter.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs welcome inside. Keep them close and calm, especially at busy times, because the smell of bacon can turn even the best-behaved dog into a tiny, hopeful statue.
