The Rose & Crown in Severn Stoke is a traditional 15th-century beamed pub where dogs are welcome inside and out, making it a genuinely useful stop for anyone heading through Worcestershire with a four-legged companion in tow. Open seven days a week from noon until 11pm, it sits between Kempsey and Upton on Severn with on-site parking and a motorhome-friendly stopover for those making a longer trip of it.
Indoor dining with dogs is confirmed, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while the rest of the table orders. Food runs lunchtimes and evenings Monday to Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes — cask ales, wines and a full pub menu covering everything from a quick pint to a proper Sunday roast.
Whether it's a wet-weather lunch stop, an overnight motorhome pitch or a post-walk pint with muddy paws under the table, the Rose & Crown keeps things relaxed and genuinely welcoming for the whole group.
