Rougham Estate at Blackthorpe Barn is a working estate visitor destination just outside Bury St Edmunds, with Roots Café, a shop, seasonal outdoor events and plenty of space for a proper day out with the dog. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas and inside the café and shop on a short lead, so you can browse, grab coffee and keep everyone together without the usual shuffle back to the car.

The estate hosts seasonal activities including workshops and outdoor events throughout the year. There's free on-site parking, including accessible spaces close to the café and shop entrance, so logistics are straightforward even when you're juggling leads and bags.

Dogs aren't allowed in the sunflower maze or pumpkin patch and they'll need to stay on a short lead with paws on the floor in the indoor areas. Roots Café is open daily including Bank Holidays from 9am to 4pm and other estate activities vary by season.
