Rowallane Garden

Rowallane Garden is a National Trust garden near Bangor where dogs are welcome in the garden, woodland, house and café. The large walled garden and natural woodland offer a proper walk with your dog through formal beds, rockery areas and spring bulbs, while a dedicated dog exercise field near the car park gives you a safe space to let them stretch off-lead. Dogs must stay on a lead in the garden and woodland areas and they're not allowed on the farmland or grazing areas.

Inside, they're welcome on-lead in the house and café, so you can bring them in while you warm up or browse. The combination of grounds, woodland and indoor access makes this a full day out rather than a quick loop.

Free parking is available in the main car park. Rowallane is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, making it an easy stop for a morning or lunchtime visit with the dog.
