That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Right in the heart of Buxton’s shopping stretch, Sacro Lounge is one of those easy, all-day spots that just works — whether you’re starting slow with breakfast, grabbing lunch mid-wander, or settling in for cocktails later on.

Inside, it’s bright, colourful and comfortably busy, with loads of seating across different spaces so you can usually land without too much fuss. Big windows keep things light downstairs, while upstairs leans a little more cosy — ideal for longer stays once you’ve claimed your corner.

The menu is broad in that “something for everyone” kind of way — brunch plates, tapas, burgers, proper mains, plus plenty of vegan and gluten-free options — so no one’s stuck picking at chips while the rest eat properly. It’s the kind of place where groups, families and solo wanderers all blur together into one relaxed hum.

For dog owners, this is a strong central base in Buxton — spacious, informal, and built for those “we’ll just pop in and stay longer than planned” stops. An easy win when you want somewhere that doesn’t overcomplicate things.
