Salcombe Cruises offers guided estuary boat trips from Whitestrand Pontoon in the heart of Salcombe, with wildlife, history and scenic views along the way. Dogs are welcome on board and travel free of charge, making this a proper dog-friendly day out on the water. Cruises run daily and last one to one and a half hours, depending on the route.

Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially during school holidays. The standard boat doesn't land on beaches, so this is a sit-back-and-enjoy experience rather than a shore scramble. Private hire is available if you want to book an exclusive trip for your group.

Launch is from Whitestrand Pontoon and there's pay-and-display parking at Whitestrand car park nearby. Park & Ride and Creek Car Park (known locally as Boat Park) are also options if the main car park is full.
