Salt Shore is a harbour-side brasserie and bar in Southwold, right on Blackshore with easy access from the seafront and harbour paths. Dogs are welcome inside, making it a natural stop for walkers heading back from the water. It's open all day, so you can drop in for coffee, lunch or an evening drink without planning around a kitchen close.

The menu leans on fresh seafood and straightforward brasserie fare. The all-day bar format means no pressure to rush and dogs settle well in the relaxed, social atmosphere. It's the kind of place where muddy paws and damp coats are part of the expected guest mix.

The location is its real draw: right on the working harbour, close enough to hear the boats and watch the water. For a Southwold dog walk, especially one that loops along the front or the paths inland, this beats most other on-lead resting spots. No frills, no fuss, just a proper local venue where dogs belong.
