Script Haven is one of Worcester’s more distinctive independents, blending bookshop, café, and event space into something that feels much more like a literary hideout than a standard retail stop. It focuses strongly on indie authors, esoteric titles, signed editions, and community events, which gives it a slightly magical, rabbit-hole quality for anyone who likes their browsing with a side order of discovery. Tucked on the High Street opposite the Elgar statue, it works beautifully for a slower town-centre pause with coffee, books, and the very real possibility of leaving with far more than you planned.
