Did you know? Serenity has a very dog-friendly heart behind the scenes too. During a trip to Inner Farne, skipper Jimmy Reid and crewman Aaron Fordy helped rescue a German Shepherd after an inflatable kayak was blown out to sea in strong winds. They spotted the kayak, found the dog still alive inside, then managed to haul him safely aboard after a terrifying slip back into the water. Wrapped in towels, warmed up and soon wagging again, he was later reunited with his owners back at Seahouses Harbour.
