Serenity sail from Seahouses Harbour year-round, serving up big Farne Islands scenery, seabird chaos (the good kind), and grey seal spotting from stable catamarans with loads of viewing space. They run a mix of trips depending on season, including non-landing wildlife cruises (like the Grey Seal, Seabird cruise, Puffin cruise, and sunset sailings) plus a longer Holy Island day trip that cruises the Farnes first, then gives you time ashore on Lindisfarne.
Because there are multiple tours with different rules, timings, and dog allowances, it’s very much a “do your homework then book” situation. The sea doesn’t care about our plans, so expect schedules to shift and book ahead where you can.
TopTips Arrive early for boarding passes (they advise 20–30 minutes depending on trip). Wrap up warm even in summer. If you’re aiming for a specific trip (or bringing a dog), check the exact sailing you’re booking.
Dog Policy:
✅ Dogs welcome onboard: Grey Seal & Seabird Cruise, Puffin Cruise, Sunset Cruise, and the Holy Island trip (per Serenity’s trip pages).
❌ Dogs not allowed: Inner Farne landing trip.
Rule of paw: check the specific booking option you’re choosing, as times and conditions can change.
