The Skipton Hotel

The Skipton Hotel is a canalside hotel on the edge of Skipton with a public bar where dogs are welcome inside whilst you eat and drink. Non-residents are welcome to drop in for a pint, a meal or afternoon tea and you won't need to leave your dog in the car or tied up outside.

Food is served throughout the day – breakfast in the morning, afternoon tea between midday and 4pm and evening dining until 9pm. The bar is open all day, every day, so there's plenty of flexibility for fitting a visit around a walk along the canal or a trip into town.

Complimentary on-site parking makes it straightforward to stop in with the car full of muddy paws and walking kit. The location is about a mile and a half from the centre of Skipton, so it's a practical choice if you want somewhere quieter with easier access than the busier spots in town.
