Slightly Foxed Berwick

Slightly Foxed Berwick is an independent secondhand bookshop on Bridge Street in Berwick upon Tweed that started life on the town's Charter Market and has grown into a proper local favourite. Dogs are welcome inside, so everyone can browse together without the pavement-waiting shuffle. Expect shelves of quality used books across fiction and non-fiction plus prints and interesting extras.

The shop sits among other independents which makes it a good part of a gentle town-centre wander. Stock changes constantly so each visit feels different and you can easily leave with a book that becomes your trip memory. If you are looking for something very Berwick without it being a cliché souvenir this is a great option.

It is an excellent rainy-day browse and a dangerous place if you love the "I will just grab one" lie. Perfect for wet-weather days when paws need shelter and humans need something more interesting than another gift shop.
