That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

Squire's Garden Centre Washington sits just outside Pulborough on the Chichester–Horsham corridor, a large-scale garden centre where well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the retail areas.

Browse plants, homewares and a full Pets & Aquatics department stocked with dog and cat accessories and food, all with your dog at your side. The garden centre welcomes dogs throughout the shopping space, though the indoor Café Bar is off-limits—outdoor seating is dog-friendly when you fancy a break. It's the sort of place where the lead stays on but the browsing is relaxed and the pets aisle doubles as useful top-up territory.

Squire's Washington offers free parking and plenty of family activities, making it a practical stop whether you're refilling the treat jar, hunting for a new planter or simply killing time with a dog who's just as happy sniffing terracotta as they are sniffing hedges.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the garden centre. Dogs are not permitted in the indoor Café Bar, but outdoor seating is available.
