St Michael's Mount is a tidal island castle and heritage attraction near Falmouth, with a harbour, village, visitor centre and café reachable by boat or causeway from Marazion.
Parking is at the St Michael's Mount / Long Stay Marazion car park (Folly Field), with satnav postcode TR17 0EG and island access depends on tide times and the boat schedule. The seasonal dog window means autumn, winter and early spring visits work well for four paws, though it does require a bit of calendar checking and lead-and-bag logistics once you arrive. It is a genuine heritage day out rather than a quick browse, so plan for tide-dependent access, limited on-island dog zones and the usual paws-on-short-leads negotiation.
Assistance dogs have broader access year-round and the official dog policy is clear about what is in and what is not, which saves the usual can-dogs-go-in guesswork before building it into a Cornish itinerary.
