That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Hidden in plain sight inside St Michael's Without, St. Mike's Cafe is one of those Bath stops that feels like you've stepped out of the shopping bustle and into a soft little pocket of calm. It's a café set right in the main church space with beautiful architecture and stained glass overhead, so your coffee break comes with a side of hush. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.

On the counter you'll usually find a tempting parade of freshly baked cakes plus savoury bits like panini, soup and lunch-friendly snacks. They also shout about their teas and artisan coffee, and there are board games if your "quick drink" turns into a full sit-down session.

It's the kind of place where paws and people can settle in together, whether you're dodging the rain or just need a calm corner in the middle of a busy Bath day.
