Stanley Park is Blackpool’s main green space, stretching across more than 100 hectares with a mix of formal gardens, open lawns, woodland, and a large boating lake. Designed in the 1920s, it blends grand features like Italian gardens and a clock tower with everyday spaces for walking, sitting, and letting the day slow down a bit. There’s plenty going on too, from play areas and sports facilities to quieter corners where it feels a world away from the seafront crowds.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome across the park. Keep dogs on a lead in the Italian Gardens Rose Garden and café terrace, and keep them out of play areas sports zones and open water.
