Stanley Park

Stanley Park in Blackpool is a grand green space stretching across more than 100 hectares, with formal Italian gardens, open lawns, woodland and a large boating lake. Designed in the 1920s, it blends elegant features like a clock tower and rose gardens with everyday spaces for walking, sitting and letting the day slow down away from the seafront crowds. Dogs are welcome across the park on lead, making it a useful leg-stretch between Blackpool's busier attractions.

The park offers a mix of formal garden areas, play zones, sports facilities and quieter woodland corners. There's plenty of space for a proper wander, and the boating lake adds a scenic focal point. Dogs need to stay on lead in the Italian Gardens, Rose Garden and café terrace, and they're not allowed in play areas, sports zones or open water.
