That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Station Promenade in Morecambe is a dog-friendly seafront pub that’s well suited to the classic “walk first, reward later” plan. Dogs are welcome inside, with water bowls available and dog treats kept in whenever possible. The team can also prepare chicken breast or sausages for dogs — just ask at the bar.

The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with easy-going drinks and straightforward pub food that works well for mixed groups and mixed appetites. It’s a handy place to warm up and refuel after time on the beach or promenade when everyone is feeling windblown and hungry in that very specific coastal way.

Nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while the humans eat, and dogs needn’t sit watching empty-handed either. Think damp sleeves, sandy shoes and a dog suddenly very interested in your next trip to the bar.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so post-walk paws can join the sit-down. Keep sandy shake-offs outside, and try to manage the "sad eyes" routine while the humans eat.
