The Stonebridge Inn is a classic Durham pub on the west side of the city, serving food daily and welcoming dogs inside the bar area. It's the sort of spot where you can settle in for a proper meal without needing to shuffle the pack outside or negotiate a complicated access policy.
Food is served seven days a week — until 9pm Monday to Saturday and 8pm on Sunday — with dogs welcome alongside you in the bar. The menu covers all the usual pub favourites and the whole group can stay together from first drink to last plate.
Open from 11am every day, it's a handy stop whether you're exploring Durham itself or passing through from the A690 side. No fuss, no shuffling between rooms, just straightforward dog-friendly hospitality in a proper city pub.
