Stourton Woods

Stourton Woods is a managed woodland and parkland estate just outside Baumber on the A158, about eleven miles south-west of Louth. This is a proper day-out destination with self-guided trails, lakes, seasonal open days and deer safari events through the summer months, rather than just a walk route with a car park.

The estate is proudly dog-friendly and welcomes well-behaved dogs on leads to all events, including the outdoor activities and public estate grounds. There's a large woodland car park on-site with space for around a hundred cars, so arriving with muddy boots and a keen dog is straightforward.

Whether you're here for a trail walk, a seasonal event or one of the deer safaris, your dog can join you across the woodland and parkland. It's the sort of place where the tangled-lead logistics feel worth it and the dog gets a proper sniff-filled outing alongside the rest of the group.
