Strawberry Lounge is a cosy, family-run café in Alnwick that’s made for proper refuelling. Drop in for coffee and cake, settle in for something homemade, or just take five minutes in the middle of a busy day and let your nervous system unclench.

Dogs welcome inside, and they don’t just tolerate them, they actually seem pleased to see them. It’s the kind of place where your dog will behave impeccably right up until the moment a scone appears, then suddenly forget every lesson they’ve ever learned.
