This community hub at Sussex Recreation Ground in Cleethorpes is the kind of place where the dog doesn’t wait to be invited in. Door open, tail up, straight inside… because they already know what’s waiting.
Set within the rec, it’s a relaxed, welcoming space built around community and everyday visits. Whether you’re passing through on a walk or stopping in for a bit longer, it’s the sort of place that feels easy, informal, and properly local. No fuss, no pressure. Just somewhere to land for a while.
Dogs are very much part of the setup here. Regulars know the drill, treats are on hand, and there’s even the option of a sausage if your dog is feeling particularly persuasive. Add in water bowls and a genuinely open-door feel, and it’s one of those rare places where dogs aren’t just allowed… they’re expected.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are very welcome inside and will likely make themselves at home if the door’s open. They can roam the main areas, just not the kitchen. Treats, water, and even sausages are available… so expect them to try their luck.

Seen this? It marks our Recommended Partners - places that go that bit further, so dogs feel properly welcome (and you can actually relax)
