Tabanco by Ambiente brings a little Southern Spain to Walmgate, built around the idea of an informal tapas and sherry bar where you can drop in for a quick nibble or settle in for a longer meal. The whole place leans warm, sociable and unfussy, with hot and cold tapas, Spanish drinks and several dining areas that give it a more textured feel than a standard restaurant. The courtyard adds another layer on sunny days, making it the sort of spot that feels lively without tipping into full-throttle chaos.
