The Tai'r Bull Inn is a traditional roadside pub in Libanus, just outside Brecon on the A470. Dogs are welcome inside the bar and eating area, so you can keep everyone together while you refuel. The atmosphere is relaxed and the bar well stocked, making it a practical stop for walkers and drivers alike.
Food is served in the dog-friendly bar and the opening hours suit a midday or early evening visit. The inn is open Wednesday to Saturday from 12:30 until 8pm and Sunday from 12:30 until 3pm. Monday and Tuesday are closed.
Libanus sits on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons, so this is a useful base for trips into the hills or a stop-off on the way back. Your dog can settle under the table while you tackle the menu and nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty.
