The Tanners Arms is a proper little Alnwick pub with bags of character, the sort of place that feels like it’s been there forever and plans to stay put. It’s a great stop when you want a relaxed pint, a friendly atmosphere, and a break from “doing things” while still technically being out.
Dogs welcome inside, which is perfect because this is exactly the kind of pub where your dog can settle at your feet and become a low-level celebrity within minutes. Expect cosy, unfussy, and nicely local.
