The Thames Head Inn is a visitor-friendly country pub just off the A433 between Cirencester and Tetbury, with open fires, solid food and dogs welcome inside the bar area. You can settle in with a drink and a proper pub stop and eat there too with your table supervisor still on duty. Food is served daily and there's on-site parking.

It's the kind of road-stop pub that works for a lunch break or a longer stay—there's a campsite on the same property and motorhome stopovers are welcome. The pub opens daily from midday to 10pm, with food service running through the afternoon and early evening.

Dogs are very welcome in the bar, so there's no need to leave anyone in the car or juggle outdoor tables in the rain. It's a straightforward, dependable stop when you need food, warmth and a pint with the dog at your feet.
