The Albion in Hastings is a heritage pub on the seafront of the Old Town, known for its award-winning pies made in-house and its place in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while the rest of the group settles in with a pint and a proper pie.
The pub serves food daily, with the kitchen open lunchtimes and evenings Monday to Saturday, and Sunday roasts until early evening. The pies are the main draw—usually six or seven varieties including meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan options—alongside Sussex ales, ciders and live music sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There's also a pasty shack on the seafront side for takeaway.
A practical spot for post-walk pints, warm corners and the kind of easy welcome that makes planning a dog-friendly day out in Hastings Old Town a little simpler. The pub's tartan-panelled interior dates from the 1930s and adds plenty of character to a relaxed meal or drink by the sea.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, which keeps paws and people together. Please keep dogs on a lead and off the seating—the tartan panels have survived nearly a century and deserve a little respect.
