The Ale Gate is Alnwick’s friendly micropub for handpulled ales, a serious gin selection, and that lovely “come as you are” feel. It’s small enough to feel intimate but busy enough to feel alive, with the kind of bar chat that starts as “just ordering” and ends as “how long have we been here”.
