The Arcadia

The Arcadia is a seafront café on the East Strand in Portrush, right in the heart of the town's beach and promenade. That straightforward indoor welcome turns the stop into a genuine breather for dogs and humans together.

Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in together for coffee and a bite while the rest of the group refuels after a walk along the sand. It's open Wednesday to Sunday, 9.30 am to 4.30 pm and closed Monday and Tuesday. The indoor café serves food, making it a practical stop for walkers, families and anyone spending the day on the seafront.

The upstairs gallery adds a little extra interest, but the main draw is the sit-down café itself—warm, central and genuinely useful when you need a break and your dog needs to stay with you. That simple inclusion is especially useful when the weather turns or the day needs a proper sit-down pause.
