The Barn Dog Field in Canterbury is a fully enclosed private hire dog field set on a working regenerative farm, where dogs can run, train and explore off-lead with secure 5ft+ fencing, netting for smaller escape artists, and double-gated entry. It's designed to feel like your own private countryside space for the hour, whether you're working on recall, building confidence, training a puppy or just letting off steam.
There's a strong real-life dog owner feel to everything here, from the secure fencing that removes that little moment of panic at the gate to the practical touches: drinking water, poo bags, parking, and even a compost toilet. Extras like a dog wash station and training pond are in progress, and there are benches for a proper sit-down. The farm shop on site makes it more of a stay-a-while visit than a quick lap.
It's the kind of place where you can finally switch off, take five, and let your dog enjoy the freedom like it's their own countryside garden, with that peaceful backdrop doing most of the work.
