The Bertie Arms is a cosy village pub in Uffington, just a short drive from Stamford, where dogs are welcome inside the bar areas. Food is served throughout the week, with lunchtime and evening menus Monday to Saturday and Sunday roasts from midday until 4pm, making it a practical stop for a pint and a plate with your dog at your feet.
The pub opens daily from 11am until 10pm, so whether you're passing through after a morning walk or settling in for the afternoon, there's room for both of you. The atmosphere is traditional and relaxed and the bar is where you and the dog can join the locals.
Uffington sits within easy reach of Stamford's market town lanes and the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside, so the Bertie is a useful refuelling point before or after exploring the area. Your dog can supervise proceedings from under the table while you tackle the menu.
