The Blood Bay is a compact traditional pub on Ludlow High Street where dogs are welcome inside. It's a proper small-scale town boozer, the kind of place you slip into for a quick pint when the shopping loop has stretched longer than anyone planned and the dog's lead is tangled round at least two carrier bags. The pub keeps weekday hours from 5pm Monday to Thursday, opens at 3pm on Friday and from midday at weekends.

Sunday has a split schedule, opening noon to 2pm then 5pm to 9pm. It's worth checking before a lunchtime visit midweek.

Reviews describe it as tiny, traditional and genuinely dog friendly—useful if you need a break without leaving anyone outside on the pavement. There's no beer garden or dedicated dog menu, just a straightforward High Street pub that lets the whole group settle in together.
