The Braes Bar and Restaurant is a handy all-day spot on the edge of St Andrews where dogs are welcome inside. It sits close to the holiday park and coastal paths, making it a useful stop before or after a walk along Kinkell Braes or down to East Sands.

Food is served daily until 8pm through the busier months and well-behaved dogs can settle in at your table while you eat. The venue is open from 9am to 10pm in season, so there's plenty of scope for an early breakfast with the dog or a late bite after a long day on the sand.

It's particularly convenient if you're staying at St Andrews Holiday Park or exploring the coastal stretch east of town. The indoor welcome means you can keep the whole group together, whatever the weather throws at you.
