The Broad Oak is a traditional Greene King pub on Nottingham's west side, handy for Strelley village and walkers exploring the area. Dogs are welcome inside the pub, so you can settle in with the whole group for food and a proper pint without anyone waiting outside. Food is served daily, with hot meals available until 9pm Monday to Saturday and 8:30pm on Sundays.

The menu covers classic pub dishes and there's sport on screen alongside the usual pub atmosphere. It's the sort of place where your dog can supervise from under the table while you sort out lunch.

Open from midday most days and 11:30am at weekends, The Broad Oak makes a useful stop for west Nottingham locals and anyone passing through who needs a sit-down with the dog. No fuss, just a straightforward Greene King pub that says yes to dogs inside.
