The Canteen is a centrally located community café in Southwold, just off the High Street behind St. Edmund's church. Dogs are welcome inside and out, so you can settle in with your dog for all-day brunch, desserts and coffee without the guilt of leaving them outside.
It's a straightforward spot for a proper sit-down visit when you're exploring Southwold's town centre with your dog in tow. The café pulls in locals and visitors alike, offering a relaxed atmosphere where wet paws and tangled leads are all part of the day. Being within easy reach of the High Street and Pier makes it handy timing when your dog needs a break from sniffing the seafront.
A corner shop stocks locally produced goods and the venue occasionally hosts art exhibitions, adding a bit of character to visits. Parking isn't covered on their site, so check ahead if you're driving.
