The Coach and Horses is a traditional pub on Oxford Street in Whitstable, handy for the town centre and station. It makes a convenient stop for a drink or a meal while exploring the town. There’s no pub car park, but parking is available nearby.

The pub opens Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 6pm. Food service includes Tuesday evenings, Thursday and Friday afternoons into the evening, Saturday from 1pm and Sunday lunchtimes.

Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, where food is served too, so the whole group can settle in together. Water bowls and free treats courtesy of Millie and the Tiger are available, and there’s a Doggy Hall of Fame celebrating visiting dogs. Dogs should be kept on leads, particularly when the pub gets busy.
