The Coffee Shack is an independent café on New Road in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay, serving coffee, cake and crepes to walkers, visitors and their dogs. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can sit down together whatever the weather.

It's a handy village-centre stop when you need a proper pause—whether that's mid-ramble or after a harbour wander. The menu keeps things simple and satisfying: good coffee, home-baked cake and hot crepes that hit the spot when you've been buffeted by the coast.

Open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, The Coffee Shack makes a practical Robin Hood's Bay base when you want cake, a seat and your dog at your feet. Outside seating is available too, but knowing you can head inside when the wind picks up is the real gift here.
