The Commissioners Quay Inn

The Commissioners Quay Inn is a quayside pub in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea where dogs are welcome inside the designated dog-friendly areas of the pub and restaurant. It's part of a waterfront hotel, but the pub and dining spaces are open to the public all day, making it a practical stop for harbour walks along the Blyth quay.

Food is served from half past seven in the morning through to nine in the evening, so whether you're after breakfast before a beach walk or dinner after a windswept afternoon, nobody has to miss out. The kitchen offers Sir Woofchester's dog food range, so your dog can join you at the table properly.

The pub is open until eleven most nights and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, which is handy if you need a late drink and somewhere warm to dry off. Dogs can settle in the indoor dog-friendly zones and the whole group stays together.
